TOTALLY UNIQUE FUNERALS
After your recent loss, the selected Funeral Director will be appointed to arrange a meeting with you to discuss the date and time for the upcoming funeral.
Subsequently, they will contact myself via telephone to enquire about my availability to conduct the funeral ceremony on the specified date. My usual practice is to confirm availability promptly. However, if I am away from my desk I will request to return the call. In the event that I am in a meeting or delivering a service, and unable to answer, my phone will be directed to voicemail. Once I have returned to my desk, I will promptly contact the Funeral Director to confirm availability. I will then contact you to arrange a family visit.

Once appointed, I will call you to arrange a meeting either at the Funeral Director's office or at your home, (whichever you prefer).

During that meeting you will have the chance to tell me all about the life story of your loved one, what they meant to you and what they meant to others.

As you answer, I will be making notes to put together a true reflection of their life.

We will discuss their musical tastes, preferred readings and poems

I will put together a beautiful ceremony that is fully reflective of their life.

If you or a family member would prefer to write your own eulogy or perform a reading, I will be available to support you every step of the way.

I will send you a copy of the eulogy as soon as it is completed to ensure that you are completely satisfied with it and make any amendments or add additional content if necessary.

On the day of the funeral, I will arrive at the venue at least an hour before the service is due to begin, to perform final checks and be there for you as you arrive.

If you need a familiar face on the day, I will be there to assist in any way I can to navigate you through a very difficult and emotional day.

It is essential that I work closely with the Funeral Director and the chapel attendant to ensure the process goes as smoothly as possible.

I will deliver the ceremony with utmost care and attention.

After the ceremony, I will wait outside for you and again be there to assist in any way.

As you leave, I will bid farewell.

A commemorative copy of the Eulogy will be delivered to you.

The cost of the funeral celebrant is usually negotiated with the Funeral Director directly.
